Use a test login safely
A login check is only useful if the account is a test account. Create that user yourself. StillWorks will not create it, and it will not email you the password.
Set it up
Make a user in your app with an email you control. Turn off anything that spends money for that user. On the StillWorks app page, save that email and password. We encrypt the password before it is stored.
Leave the password blank later if you only want to change the email and keep the saved password.
What the check does
We open the login URL, fill the email and password boxes when we can find them, and submit. If the page shows a clear error, we mark it broken. If we cannot tell, we say we are not sure.

Do you log into my app?
Only if you save a test login on a paid plan. Use a test account, not your real one. On a free check we only open the login page. We never type a card number.
Do you create fake users?
No. We open the signup page and stop. We do not submit the signup form.
